The farmhouse
Four independent apartments
A Privileged Setting
The property enjoys a setting of rare beauty: protected by lush woods to the rear, while in front, the land slopes gently towards the valley, offering a breathtaking, sweeping view of the lake and its islands.
It is a place where time seems to stand still, preserving the authentic breath of the Umbrian countryside.
The building is a true testament to the traditional farmhouse architecture of the era. Originally, the ground floor was the hub of agricultural activity, housing the cellar, storage areas, and the stables, while auxiliary spaces—such as the pigsty and the shed for storing carts and tools—were located in separate outbuildings.
The farm’s economy thrived on a balanced mix of woodland, olive groves, vineyards, and wheat fields. On the upper floor, domestic life centered around the warmth of a large fireplace, the heart of the kitchen and bedrooms.

A New Chapter: From Farmhouse to Residence
The space
With the decline of the rural economy and the gradual depopulation of the countryside, Toppello’s destiny underwent a transformation. Rather than falling into neglect, the ancient structure became the subject of a meticulous conservative restoration.
Today, the old farmstead has been reborn as an exclusive residence consisting of four independent apartments. This project has done more than just renovate the building; it has preserved its soul, highlighting the original stone and proportions.
Staying here means experiencing a home that seamlessly blends the authentic charm of Umbrian history with modern comforts, all nestled in a landscape where beauty remains the true protagonist.
